MICHELLE FIELDS, MA, LPC

Clinical Director-IOP

Michelle Fields has a Master of Arts degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University in Boulder. She joined La Luna Center’s team as an intern and has been with us since. Michelle is experienced in working with disordered eating and body image issues in both group and individual therapy.  Michelle has background in mindfulness practices, meditation and yoga. Her approach to therapy is integrative and draws from contemplative, psychodynamic, and humanistic psychologies. Michelle’s clients appreciate her compassionate, grounded and open presence.

CAIT OLDE, MA, LPC

Primary Therapist - IOP

Cait received a Master of Arts in Mindfulness Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Cait’s approach to recovery is advocacy-based for each individual client within their system. Cait’s main goal is to approach each client’s journey with curiosity and compassion in order to walk alongside each client to help them achieve their own goals of recovery. Cait is passionate about helping clients build self-confidence to navigate the challenges of disordered eating, and the joys of recovery. To support this, Cait uses evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Cait brings a mindfulness component to all aspects of psychotherapy and has experience working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health issues.

AMBER RISER, RDN

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - IOP

Amber is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in the state of Colorado. She completed a CDR-accredited dietetic internship at Be Well Solutions in Cleveland, during which she confirmed her ability to engage and empower clients of diverse backgrounds. Amber is passionate about helping all clients build positive relationships with food/body through evidence-based nutrition education and counseling using a non-diet and Health at Every Size® approach. She is a current member of the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition practice group through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals. Above all, Amber strives to hear, understand and collaborate with her clients. 
Outside of work, Amber enjoys all things outdoors.

LINDSEY (LP) POST, LPC

Primary Therapist - IOP

LP has a License in Professional Counseling (LPC). She has a Master's of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Science degree in Experimental Psychology from Western Illinois University. These studies offer a blend of research and clinical approaches. LP has experience helping adult and child populations with a range of mental and physical health concerns. LP brings a curious approach to group therapy, helping clients explore their current and past experiences through their minds and bodies. To explore life with her clients, LP uses interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Clients appreciate her warmth, lightheartedness, honesty, empathy and curiosity.

ERICA COHEN, LPC

Primary Therapist - IOP

Erica is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and has a Master of Arts degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University.  Erica has experience working with eating disorders, trauma, mood disorders, grief, and mass violence as well as many other focuses.  Erica is a client-centered therapist with a compassionate, relational, and humorous approach.  She uses somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.  Erica considers it a great honor to journey alongside clients through their vulnerable and courageous work in therapy and in treatment. Outside of work, Erica loves spending time outdoors with her dog, partner, and friends.

ALLIE COLDIRON, BA

Director of IOP Admissions

Allie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from La Sierra University. She is passionate about organization, efficiency and creating a beautiful space. Allie handles admissions, scheduling, billing, and insurance issues and regularly interacts in-person and on the phone with all of our clients. She is the backbone of our center and our clients appreciate her warmth, approachability, and attention to detail.

LAURA CORDOVA, LPC, CEDS

Clinical Director - PHP

Laura Cordova received her Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at The University of Montevallo. She has extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders in both higher levels of care and outpatient settings. Laura has also achieved her designation as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Laura’s approach is integrative, with an emphasis on providing holistic, trauma-informed care. She is passionate about leading with a compassionate approach that meets individuals where they are while also promoting motivation for change and healing. Laura utilizes a number of therapeutic approaches, including: Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, and experiential therapies. Laura’s clients appreciate her warmth, empathy, authenticity, and humor.

JESSICA TSOURMAS, MD

Psychiatrist - PHP

Dr. Jessica Tsourmas is board certified in both adult and child and adolescent psychiatry. She received her medical degree in 2006 from George Washington University. She then completed the rest of her training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in 2011. Dr. Tsourmas worked as an assistant professor at Dell Medical School in Austin, Texas for 8 years. She was the medical director of the inpatient child psychiatry unit and was an attending physician on the consult service for the pediatric hospital. Teaching and supervising residents and fellows was a daily part of her job. Dr. Tsourmas' clients appreciate her authenticity, humor and compassion.

MATTIE ALPAUGH, M.S, RDN

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - PHP

Mattie has a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science and a Master’s degree in Dietetics with a concentration in Sustainable Food Systems from the University of Vermont. She has broad experience as a dietitian working in nutrition research, food security, and outpatient care, but found she was most passionate about treating eating disorders. Mattie’s nutrition philosophy and approach to care are rooted in a Health at Every Size and weight-inclusive perspective. Mattie is dedicated to helping her clients reconnect with food in a way that supports their well-being and their autonomy. She enjoys helping clients feel empowered in their recovery and supporting a creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

BEKKI DIENER. MSW, LSW

Primary Therapist - PHP

Bekki received a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Hawai’i with a concentration in Mental Health. Bekki spent more than 12 years working with youth from diverse backgrounds in school and treatment center settings.  She has experience providing social-emotional and academic counseling to students and their families.  Her therapeutic approach is one that leads with compassion and understanding, drawing on clients’ strengths and exploring barriers to creating change. Bekki utilizes many therapeutic modalities, including trauma-informed practice, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Action Commitment Therapy, and an overall person-centered approach.  She offers a calming, gentle, and unconditionally supportive environment for her clients, creating a safe space to engage in treatment.

ELENE KVERNADZE, MSW

Primary Therapist - PHP

Elene received her Master of Arts degree in Social Work from Colorado State university and is currently actively pursuing her Clinical Social Work Licensure. She has an Integrative/holistic, person-in-environment approach to mental health and wellness and has experience working with diverse populations both in the US and internationally. She focuses on clients’ strengths and utilizes her knowledge and experience in mindfulness, yoga, narrative therapy, CBT, and other evidence-based modalities to support and empower clients in their journey towards healing.

KIM BREWSTER, BS

Program Coordinator - PHP

Kim was born and raised in Northern Colorado and received her Bachelor's degree from The University of Northern Colorado. She began her career in the field of eating disorders at Children’s Hospital Colorado where she fulfilled her love of helping others for twenty years. Over her professional career, Kim also gained experience in management, care management, health care, and admissions. She sees the best version of every person she meets and enjoys connecting with others while on their journey to recovery. Her goal is to help clients form a healthy relationship with food and live their life in the safest and healthiest way possible.

REGHAN HOYT, BS

Director of PHP Admissions

Reghan has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Colorado State University. She strives to provide clear, compassionate communication and enjoys working with clients in-person and over the phone to assist them in admission, scheduling, and billing issues. Clients appreciate her organizational skills and personable nature.
