HANNAH BRASS, RDN

Team Director - IOP

Hannah Brass, RDN
Hannah Brass received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition from Colorado State University. She then went on to complete her post graduate work through Priority Nutrition Care Dietetic Internship in Boston, MA to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Hannah provides nutritional support to individuals in the recovery process and promotes an intuitive approach to eating and overall wellness. Hannah creates a collaborative and supportive environment, helping individuals find a balanced relationship with food and a lifestyle that works well for them. She views food as nourishment and fuel for the body. Hannah also enjoys cooking and tasting new foods

KARI JANSEN, M.A., LCSW

Kari Jansen, M.A., LCSW
Kari received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University, and Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Denver. Kari is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Colorado.  She has experience working with adolescents and adults with disordered eating and body image concerns in inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, transitional living, and outpatient settings.  She utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, as well as integrating Psychoanalytic approaches.  Kari values empathetic connection in the therapeutic relationship and emphasizes self compassion and hope in the journey toward recovery. Clients appreciate her warmth, straightforwardness, and authenticity. 

RACHAEL COFFREN, M.A., ATR, LPC

Primary Therapist - IOP

Rachael Coffen is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist in the state of Colorado.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University combining psychology and fine art into her studies. She completed her graduate work at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, receiving her Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy.  With over 11 years experience in various treatment settings, Rachael’s creative methodology utilizes a client-centered approach combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Art Therapy. Upon meeting Rachael, you will feel safe, secure and guided to make healthy life changes from a place of loving kindness.

JULIEN FAURE, M.S., LMFT

Julien Faure, M.S., LMFT
Julien is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado and holds a Master of Science in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Julien has extensive experience helping individuals, couples, and families and has provided counseling in a variety of settings including his own private practice. Julien’s approach to therapy is strength-based, client-centered and systemic.  As Julien’s client, you can expect a welcoming and collaborative environment where you will feel comfortable exploring the avenues to reach your goals. 

KELLY ELISE ULMER, ED.S., LPC

Primary Therapist - IOP

Kelly graduated with a master’s degree in counselor education and a specialist degree in mental health counseling from the University of Florida. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and has extensive experience working with individuals struggling with their relationships to food, body, exercise, and self. Kelly approaches counseling holistically while bringing awareness to the diverse systems and cultural forces that impact her clients’ social context and wellbeing. Consequently, she takes a weight-inclusive approach to her work and acknowledges that health comes in all shapes and sizes. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in culturally sensitive treatment, compassion, mindfulness, and existential philosophy. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based treatment approaches into her practice. Her clients know her for her warmth, kindness, and playful sense of humor.

LAUREL CARTER, M.A., LPC

Primary Therapist - IOP

Laurel Carter is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Acudetox Specialist and Registered Yoga Teacher in the state of Colorado. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health at Adams State University where she placed emphasis on an integration of mindfulness, meditation and yoga in the therapeutic setting. Laurel has worked in community mental health with families and children, in the university setting with acutely suicidal and at-risk students and staff, as well as in private practice where she integrated the alternative modalities of sound therapy, acudetox and kundalini yoga + meditation. In the therapeutic space Laurel meets her client’s where they are, utilizing Mindful Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion. Clients appreciate Laurel’s authentic communication, as well as her caring and genuine motivation for their health and healing.

ALLIE COLDIRON, BA

Office Manager/Admissions - OP/IOP/PHP

Allie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from La Sierra University. She is passionate about organization, efficiency and creating a beautiful space. Allie handles admissions, scheduling, billing, and insurance issues and regularly interacts in-person and on the phone with all of our clients. She is the backbone of our center and our clients appreciate her warmth, approachability, and attention to detail.

LUCIA BENNETT LEIGHTON, M.A., LPC, R-DMT

Clinical Director - PHP

Lucia is a licensed professional counselor and has a master’s degree from Naropa University’s Somatic Counseling Psychology program. She has years of experience working with adults struggling with eating disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings and strives to honor the uniqueness of each individual as they embark on their recovery process. Lucia uses her training as a Dance/Movement Therapist to support clients in reconnecting to their bodies and healing from trauma. Lucia has a research background in somatic psychology and is the co-author and editor of the book, "Oppression in the Body: Roots, Resistance, and Resolutions". Lucia integrates a body-centered, creative, and social justice-oriented approach to therapy and clients appreciate her humor and warm, direct approach to the therapeutic process.

JESSICA TSOURMAS, MD

Psychiatrist - PHP

Dr. Jessica Tsourmas is board certified in both adult and child and adolescent psychiatry. She received her medical degree in 2006 from George Washington University. She then completed the rest of her training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in 2011. Dr. Tsourmas worked as an assistant professor at Dell Medical School in Austin, Texas for 8 years. She was the medical director of the inpatient child psychiatry unit and was an attending physician on the consult service for the pediatric hospital. Teaching and supervising residents and fellows was a daily part of her job. Dr. Tsourmas' clients appreciate her authenticity, humor and compassion.

GINA SELLINGER, MPH, RDN

Registered Dietitian - PHP

Gina completed her graduate coursework at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, where she received her Master of Public Health degree in Nutritional Sciences. Gina went on to complete her Dietetic Internship through the University of Michigan School of Public Health to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. While studying at the University of Michigan, Gina developed an understanding of eating disorder prevention and treatment, motivational interviewing, and the impacts of weight bias on health. During her graduate coursework, Gina was involved in research projects that qualitatively examined the impact of diet trends and body ideals, as well as research that looked at the potential drivers of eating disorders on college campuses. Gina is an anti-diet, Health at Every Size-informed Dietitian, and is passionate about weight inclusive care. Gina provides a thoughtful, kind, and compassionate approach to nutrition care.  Gina enjoys connecting and collaborating with clients, working in partnership with them as they take steps towards healing their relationships with food and body.

CLAIRE TIMM, M.S., MFTC

Group Therapist - PHP

Claire received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from California State University San Marcos, and her Master’s Degree in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon. Claire is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate in the state of Colorado. As a relational therapist, Claire is interested in exploring various areas within a client’s life to help them increase their own self-awareness. She is also passionate about helping clients choose connection over their eating disorders. Claire has experience working with adults, children, couples, and families in dealing with a range of mental health concerns. She utilizes narrative therapy, internal family systems, experiential therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to inform her clinical work.
