This IOP program is group based, starts participants at 9 hours a week of group therapy, in addition to individual & nutrition therapy. The IOP is appropriate for medically stable individuals with a history of significant eating disorder concerns.
Treatment Team:
Our treatment team consists of psychologists, master’s level therapists, registered dieticians, and practicum students/interns. We collaborate regularly around client treatment in both informal consultation and formal supervision.
Treatment Philosophy/Approach:
At La Luna Center we recognize that eating disorders serve as coping tools for underlying emotional issues. We describe our approach to treatment as feminist and integrative; meaning that the treatment process is collaborative between therapist and client and that we integrate treatment tools and techniques from varied theoretical perspectives including CBT, DBT, ACT, interpersonal, psychodynamic, client-centered, experiential etc.
